Have early breakfast today as you prepare for a drive to the park for briefing by your ranger guide. Here you begin tracking the Mountain gorillas through the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This can take a couple of hours or a whole day depending on the location of the apes. Keep an eye out for forest species such as buffaloes, elephants, black fronted duikers and bushbucks. NB; don’t forget to carry your packed lunches. It is a humbling experience to stand just meters from man’s distant cousins as they eat rest, play and bond with their young.

Follow the Mountain gorillas as they range freely in the impenetrable forest and discover their gorgeous natural habitat and the many species they share it with. The Gorilla group you will track belongs to one of the habituated family group who can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day. After a well-earned trip to the gorillas you will drive back to your hotel for an overnight. You can rest your tired legs and restorative massage, offered from the gorilla experience!
