Day 1:
Arrival at Entebbe International Air Port.

Day 2
Drive to Lake Mburo National Park.
After your breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Lake Mburo and cross the Equator a journey that will take approximately 4 -5 hours. At the Equator, you can do a water experiment to see the difference between the southern hemisphere and the northern hemisphere. You will also visit the crafts shops and have lunch at Lake Mburo. Lake Mburo National Park is located in Western Uganda. The park is situated approximately 240 kilometres (150 mi), by road, west of Kampala, Uganda’s capital and largest city. The park has a variety of animals such as zebras, impala, buffaloes, and over three hundred (300) bird species. At 260 square kilometres (100 sq mi), the park is the smallest of Uganda’s Savannah national parks. Do a game drive in the afternoon?

Day 3
Drive to Bwindi
Today after your breakfast, you go for a short game drive and embark on your journey to Kisoro the town near the famous Bwindi impenetrable National park. This park is mostly famous for the rare mountain gorillas and the drive to the park is incredibly scenic, passing through various local villages and the lush green countryside & hills which characterize so much of south western Uganda.
Once you are in the forest park, it is one of the richest ecosystems in Africa and the diversity of species is a feature of the park. It provides habitat for some 120 species of mammals, 348 species of birds, 220 species of butterflies, 27 species of frogs, chameleons, geckos and many endangered species. Floristically Bwindi is amongst the most diverse forests in East Africa, with more than 1,000 flowering plant species including 163 species of trees and 104 species of ferns. The journey takes 10 hours.

Day 4
Gorilla Tracking Day.
Today you go to track the rare mountain gorillas. After a briefing from your ranger guide, begin tracking the mountain gorillas through the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This can take a couple of hours or a whole day depending on the location of the apes. Keep an eye out for forest species such as buffaloes, elephants, black fronted duikers and bush bucks. NB; don’t forget to carry your packed lunches. It is a humbling experience to stand just meters from man’s distant cousins as they eat rest, play and bond with their young. Follow the mountain gorillas as they range freely in the impenetrable forest and discover their gorgeous natural habitat and the many species they share it with.

Day 5
Drive to Lake Bunyonyi.
After breakfast, you will drive 3 hours to Lake Bunyonyi for lunch and relaxation. Lake Bunyonyi is referred to as a “Place of many little birds” and lies in south western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale close to the border with Rwanda. It is one of the few lakes in the region that is rumored to be free of bilharzia and safe for swimming, however, you can verify this before attempting to dive in!

Day 6
Drive to queen Elizabeth National Park.
Today you will start your journey to the famous Queen Elizabeth National park. The Park covers an area of about 1978 km2, its position provides a magnificent view of the rift valley floor that occupies Lake Edward and Gorge. The park has one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any national park in the world as its well known to be habitat of about 95 mammals along with 612 species of birds. You will either stay in one of the lodges depending on your scale of preference for 2 nights.

Day 7
Morning game drive and Boat in the afternoon.
After an early morning breakfast, you go for your first game drive through the park. Your guide will help you spot the plethora of wildlife found in the Park, You will be able to spot a lot of the African animal wildlife for example: elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, different species of antelope and many tropical birds. They are all there! After lunch, you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. Here, you will see a lot of hippos (more than you can possibly imagine!), as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see: Buffalos, Crocodiles, bathing Elephants, and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly one of the highlights of your tour.

Day 8
Game drive and drive to Kibale Forest National Park.

Day 9
Chimpanzee tracking and swamp walk.
Kibale National Park has one of the most lovely and varied tracts of tropical forest in Uganda. The Forest is interspersed with patches of grassland and swamp, dominant in the northern and central parts of the park on an elevated plateau. The park is home to a total of 70 mammal species, mostly 13 species of primate which includes the chimpanzee. It also has over 375 species of birds. Kibale neighbors Queen Elizabeth National Park to the south to create a 180km-long corridor for wildlife between Ishasha, the remote southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Sebitoli in the north of Kibale National Park.
The Kibale-Fort Portal area is one of Uganda’s most appealing destinations to explore. The park lies close to the quiet Ndali-Kasenda crater area and within half a day’s drive of the Queen Elizabeth, Rwenzori Mountains and Semuliki National Parks, as well as the Toro-Semliki Wildlife Reserve

Day 10
Drive to Murchison Falls National park.
After a refreshing breakfast, you start your journey to Uganda’s biggest National Park – Murchison Falls National Park a journey that will take you approximately 9 hours depending on the stops. On your way to Murchison Falls, you will pass through small villages where you can be able to interact with local people and see the tea plantations. You will have lunch en route. While at the park, you will experience the uniqueness of the Park because of the rich diversity of the wild animals such as Elephants, the largest Antelope i.e. Water buck, Giraffes, The Uganda Kob which is the National Antelope, Lions and many others, all these on our way to the Hotel.

Day 11
Game Drive in the morning and Boat in the afternoon.
This morning you will have your early breakfast and go for your game drive that will involve eye-to-eye with the African animal Kingdom; buffalo, giraffes, lions, leopards, elephants and a vast number of tropical birds. In the afternoon, you take a boat trip towards the bottom of Murchison Falls that takes up to 2 to 3 hours on the Victoria Nile. You will then have a chance to spot hippos, buffalo, water birds, apes, crocodiles and many other wild life that are home to the Nile. You will then drive back to Hotel for Dinner.

Day 12
Game Drive in the morning and drive to Masindi.
Today is another experience as you go for your short game drive to spot what you didn’t see the other days. After the game drive, you will cross the Ferry and visit the magnificent top of the falls, then drive to Masindi for an overnight.

Day 13
Visit the Rhinos & Drive back to Kampala
After your breakfast, you take trip for 1 hour to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola for the game walk with an experienced Ranger guide. Uganda used to have a wide range of Rhinos in the 1960s but the poaching during Amin’s era resulted in the disappearance of these beautiful animals. Rhino Fund Uganda was founded in 1998 to re-introduce both black and white Rhinos in Uganda as a sanctuary. They do breeding programs and also educate the local people about this endangered species plus poaching. Here, you have a safari-hike to the Rhinos giving you a chance to see them at a close range. There are now 13 Rhinos including Obama (whose mother is from Kenya and the father is from the USA!), Augusto etc. After the Rhinos sanctuary in Nakasongola, we drive back to Kampala and spend a night at a Hotel right in Kampala.

Day 14
City Tour and Flight.
After breakfast, you have Kampala city tour where you will visit the numerous crafts markets, Kampala taxi park with hundreds of commuter taxis jam parked in a small park (you will be guided to climb the adjacent high buildings to have an aerial view of this sometimes chaotic park), option of visiting Kampala’s biggest Mosque that was sponsored by Late Muamar Gadaffi – the former President of Libya. You will have Lunch in a nice restaurant of your choice in Kampala and drive to Entebbe international airport for the flight back home.
